POTTER PARTY! and Japanese food, 07-15-05 : I am so glad there are people in the world who share my silliness and simplicity. I actually reserved copies of the sixth Harry Potter book in advance, stood in line for a numbered bracelet at the Barnes and Noble, and with several wonderful people, went to the Potter Party (yes, they're actually called that) at Barnes and Noble on 3rd Street Promenade. Several of us went to a local Japanese restaurant beforehand (in between my standing in line for the bracelet and the start of the Potter Party). Games! Arts and Crafts! Storytime! Face painting! It was like, a Ren Faire, or something. ^-*
